What Is Personal Training?

Personal training involves structured, one-to-one exercise sessions in which you’ll spend on average 60 minutes (depending on ability and session structure) with a coach.

This is your opportunity to learn from a bodybuilder with over 10 years experience so you know how to train effectively for the best results. We don’t believe in “beasting” clients to the point they hate the gym and/or get injured. Train smarter not harder.

Who Is This For?

It can be overwhelming learning how to perform exercises correctly. Learning to squat, Deadlift or any other exercise can be a complicated and daunting process.

Having an experienced coach there to help you analyse your movement patterns and offer beneficial cues as far as exercise recommendations and technique is concerned can be pivotal to the ability for your long term training plan.

For those that just want a little bit of a push during a training session, a personal trainer can of course help with this. A good coach will help encourage and push you physically and mentally (within a safe realm) through those tougher workouts

Results Not Promises!​

Promises are easy to make, but for those of you who are prepared to work hard and follow our advice to the T then life changing results can be yours whether that be fat loss, muscle build or performance, we’ve became known for our results and you can see some client results further down the page. Remember, they were all once where you are now they just did one thing and that’s they decided to take control and make changes!

Whatever you are thinking… you’re not alone! Most often our clients feel like they are too busy or maybe they are stressed with work or family commitments. They even may even a touch of laziness sets it or their lack of knowledge brings them down which traps us in an unhealthy self-perpetuating cycle and we feel tired and sluggish, our sleep suffers, we binge or comfort eat or rely on unhealthy convenience options too often and it affects both our body and mind.

The pattern is familiar; it doesn’t happen overnight but accumulates over time and tends to hit us as a big shock in the clothes store, the mirror, looking at old photographs or when we just can’t physically do something we once found easy.

For some of our clients their motivation is less dramatic but no less meaningful as they all have their own personal reason for wanting to be in better shape, whether that is to look good for a holiday, on a beach, for their wedding, to improve their self confidence knowing they look and feel more attractive for their partner. Transmogrify is a term I once heard which clearly defines what we do at Iron Avengers Fitness. By definition transmogrify is to drastically change or transform and that is exactly what we do with our clients, we drastically change your physiques appearance, health and life.

Transmogrify clients are anyone who wants to dramatically change their appearance by adding muscle, losing body fat, or doing both at the same time. If you have been told that both of these things can’t be done at the same time, you have been lied to. This doesn’t mean you have to already be in shape or want to get to a competitive level. Transmogrify is to drastically change your physique whether this is taking you from severely obese to a healthy condition or drastically adding muscle size or improving condition.

Online coaching is for anyone that wants drastic change and drastic change is very person dependent so you do not have to be an athlete or have even stepped in a gym before to get spectacular results with our online coaching.

How does this work?

You have your FREE consultation with your coach to identiy your goal and timeframe. From their your coach will create and talk you through the plan of action to get you to your desired results. Be honest about your previous experience and speak up if you're struggling. It's okay to ask us questions; no question is too silly or off limits. Take notes during the session if it helps with your progress and learning.

I have an injury, can you help?

We've worked with nearly every possible obstacle with our online clients at this point. As long as you're willing to follow the coaching instructions we can adapt the program around injuries, travel, holidays and a hectic lifestyle. In fact, that's what we excel at!

I'm new to training, will this still work for me?

100% as each program is custom built to you, your experience, lifestyle and commitments so whether you are a gym newbie or a veteran we will tailor the program to suit! We offer weekly coaching with this experience so that you'll never be left wondering what to do or how something works.

Will I be provided with a nutrition plan?

Usually this is not part of a personal training service due to the lack of knowledge with most PT's. Lucky for you we are experienced and knowledgeable in this area and nutrition coaching can be added when on the checkout page.

What if I don't get any results?

We have a simple policy regarding this. If you can show us that you've taken action on the advise and coaching instruction, followed our guidance and taken part in the coaching but STILL haven't seen anything by way of results, we'll issue you a full refund for your investment. We're very confident that if you follow the program, you'll get results you're proud of.

How many hours per week will I need to do this?

How many personal training sessions you have depends on your fitness goal, your budget and our schedule. The average is 1-2 sessions per week for 60mins with guidance on training sessions when not with your coach.​
